We invite you to attend an upcoming high-level conference in Brussels on June 4th, dedicated to exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, citizen participation, and the evolving concept of the Democracy Shield.
Organised under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and hosted in the Committee of the Regions, the event promises a dynamic exchange of ideas with some of the most influential voices in European tech and democracy.
We are honoured to welcome Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, as well as Nathalie Loiseau and Mika Aaltola, both members of the Special Committee on the EU Democracy Shield. The programme will also feature Katarzyna Prusak-Górniak from the Polish Presidency, Martyna Bildziukiewicz from the EEAS, Iverna McGowan from the UN OHCHR, and Silke Toenshoff from the Communication Directorate of Committee of the Regions.
On the organisational side, the event is a joint effort of Association Civic Tech Europe (ACTE), Make.org, and CEE Digital Democracy Watch.
We invite you to join us for this discussion — register here before May 27th.
