This week in London, we were proud to take part in the discussion “Upgrading Disinformation Defence: Lessons for Europe from the Polish Election” organised by Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London and Chatham House.
The event under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU spotlighted information security as a critical pillar of European resilience and democratic integrity.
The discussion emphasised the importance of international cooperation, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs actively coordinating with the European External Action Service and other Member States within the Rapid Alert System. We highlighted the work of Counter Disinformation Network, and the role civil society networks can play in strengthening election integrity.
