This week, together with Central European Institute of Asian Studies, we hosted a seminar in Warsaw titled “When China Enters the Chat: Visibility, Reactions, and Narratives in Polish Social Media.”, gathering a diverse pool of diplomats, think tank experts, academics, and representatives of state institutions. The discussion started with a presentation of the results from a comprehensive analysis of China-related narratives on key social media in Poland and the results from large-scale opinion polls conducted in the four countries.
This event was a part of the project “Investigating China-related narratives in the Central European information space” that CEIAS is implementing in cooperation with Matej Bel University (Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici), supported by the European Media & Information Fund (EMIF) managed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
